The Cignella Estate

The Cignella Estate is a beautiful holiday resort situated on the top of a large hill near Trequanda with breathtaking views across the Valdichiana to Lake Trasimeno.

Cignella is close to some of Tuscany’s most notable attractions: –

• Montepulciano and Montalcino and their world renowned wine estates
• Siena with its celebrated Palio
• Val d’Orcia, now a World HeritageSite

The Cignella Estate comprises of 18 houses and apartments and is currently let out to a holiday company. Ecovista own 15% of Cignella SRL which owns the Cignella estate. The current value of the estate is between Euro 16 and 17 million; the current liabilities of the Cignella SRL are approximately Euro 10 million.

Ecovista have an option to buy the balance of 85% for Euro 4 million.

There is the potential to convert the 5 existing townhouses into 27 individual hotel rooms, a restaurant and a central reception area to maximise the rental income from the estate.
